I have been living at my father’s house for the past 2 years with my family for personal reasons, during this time I had a baby and my father adopted several stray dogs. One stray bit me quite severely although the dog is very familiar with me. The surgeon who operated on me warned me quite seriously that it is not safe to keep this dog in proximity to young children. I have a small dog who was bleeding a few months back and now suspect this dog may have bitten her. I voiced me concerns to my father and he refuses to listen. I am a dog lover, but I am now admittedly terrified of this dog and have anxiety of having it under the same roof as my baby. I am not in the position to move out immediately. Would love any advice please.
