Drinking while doing the Stop Overdrinking program?!

I know I overdrink,and I’d like to stop. I know I can learn not to end every day with wine. But the thought of losing that crutch is scary. I want to start the overdrinking program, but I also don’t feel ready to stop drinking and am afraid that I’ve failed before even starting. I’m sure I want to learn to handle my feelings in a healthy way, but I’m ambivalent about giving up a coping habit I’ve had for decades. Where should I begin?
