“Eliminating anxiety” as my new belief


Hi Brooke,

I have a question about my new belief for the month.
I have a lot of morning anxiety relating to work (how many hours I will be working, how challenging my patients will be, will I be getting a good evaluation, etc.)
I think I want my sentence to be something like “work does not make me anxious”, but my question is whether it is even possible to eliminate feelings of anxiety? I’ve gotten into a good morning routine where I mediate 15-20 minutes ever day, and the focus during these sessions is more on changing the perception that I have to my anxious thoughts (but acknowledging that some anxiety is a part of every day life).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
