Hi… Just wondering how do we classify the feeling generated when in physical contact like holding hands or embracing or kissing or sex or even just touching lightly. I’m not just referring to a partner but also when a friend hugs you or your small niece/nephew embraces you or when you carry your kid. Or when somebody touches you even lightly and we feel either good or disgust sometimes. Or when you touch shoulder to shoulder. Or when you are feeling cold due to weather and somebody embraces you. Are these all purely emotions, i.e., thoughts we have the creates a feeling? Or is there an element somehow of being a sensation? Thanks
