Thank you so much for the response! After all, the meeting yesterday is the C in her model. I’ve been working on letting other people have their opinions about me, their raise, the company, etc and I’m progressing but once in a while I go into default pleasing/thinking mode.
I came up with this today:
C B said “I thought my raise would have been bigger”
T B’s thoughts/feelings/actions about the raise are her model
A Move on from yesterday with ease and confidence, continue to utilize my process for evaluating employees, continue to monitor trends in the industry, allow people to think and feel how they feel without justifying or overexplaining myself
R I stay in my model and allow people to have theirs
