Fear Pattern

I have a lot of fear about physical sensations. I am an athlete that has had many overuse injuries. And many were long-term chronic injuries that went on for years. I still have several I’m dealing with now.

Because of this history, anytime I feel a physical sensation think, “Oh no, this is another injury. This is going to be bad and last a long time again. Your body is failing you. You’re not going to be able to move forward with your training, and you won’t be able to have the life you want.”

This thinking pattern creates the constant feeling of fear, worry, panic, disappointment — all things I don’t want in my life. I need help figuring out a new way to think about things because I’m sick of this pattern.
