What to do when feeling lonely?
I am recently divorced and either feel overwhelmed/overcome with kids, socializing, lack of space, or as if there is too much space and I’m feeling lonely.
I have projects, exercise, a house to clean, friends – but I still feel lonely.
When I’ve been away from my phone for a while and there are no new texts, polos, emails, I feel lonely.
If I ask myself what I’m thinking, I guess it would be:
I’m all alone
or I’m not really connected with anyone
or No one really likes me
or I’m really just alone.
These seem true to me at the moments I feel alone. There are moments I do not feel alone, but the circumstances are different then – I am with someone, communicating with someone, or focused on a project.
