Feeling unimportant and disconnected

A Think about what I can do to feel better, feel sad about lack of connection, talk with therapist about what I can do to feel closer to family members, feel sad that my family isn’t closer and more caring, feel responsible for creating a family that isn’t as close as I want to be, try to talk with my children and remind them of the things they need to be doing in order to connect with them but this just annoys them.
R I feel unimportant and afraid that I don’t know how to connect. Feel like I’ve failed to create the warm, loving, connected family I want
