Feeling Your Love

In May’s workbook Brooke makes the statement, “Hear this: You are the only one who feels your love” I don’t agree with that, and I’m wondering if I’m missing something. English is limiting, as we say, “we love a flower,” but it isn’t the same as “loving my mother.” Yet, we still use the word “love” to cover both. The feeling I have towards my mom is very different than how I love a flower or my boyfriend. I believe love is energy, and I can definitely feel when someone loves me, regardless of whether I’m loving them back. So, if I love someone I’m not the only one feeling that…they feel it, but may or may not reciprocate. Am I just in disagreement on this point (which is totally OK) or am I missing something.
