I have a storage bin that has files of papers from a program I completed in 2012. I’ve pulled it out and started to go through the papers. Mind you that bin has sat unopened for probably the last 5 years.
Problem is that I when I see lectures/articles/etc. I think “I should re-read this or I should save this lecture.” Some of the information is still relevant. Needless to say this takes time.
Problem is I’m not sure I want to spend my time in this way. There is a big part of me that wants to just throw it all away and be done. I mean if I haven’t opened the bin in 5 years–likely I didn’t need the information–and I know where to find relevant and up to date information on any topic related to my field.
