My first curveball has arrived

Hi Brooke,
The first goal I will achieve for 2017 is weight loss and it’s going extremely well. I’ve lost 7 pounds so far and feel fantastic.
Now for my curve ball…
My 3 grown children will be coming home for a visit in February. My oldest is married with 2 darling children. My two younger children don’t always get along with the oldest, but they all manage to keep the peace for the few times they are together each year. This has always been a stressful time for me, but I want it to be different from now on. I want to let go of the worry that something bad is going to happen and enjoy my children and grandchildren.
Here are my models… your advice would be much appreciated
C- the kids are coming home
T- what if they don’t get along and the family is in turmoil
F- worried, stressed, anxious
A- talking with them before hand, arranging schedules and activities
R- muddle through, hope it goes well
Revised model:
C- kids are coming home
T- it will be a wonderful visit for everyone
F- hopeful, happy
A- tell everyone I will be happy they will be together for a visit
R- I enjoy everyones visit

I don’t think my revised model is powerful enough.
This is the type of situation that used to trigger overeating and stress. No more.
Thanks for you help Brooke!
