Last night some flour and a bit of sugar snuck into my dinner in the form of cornbread. It was planned. But this morning I noticed that I woke up hungry and have been starving ever since, even though I consider myself completely fat adapted and usually don’t eat until at least noon. Is that what flour and sugar does to me? Make me hungry? Thinking back, I can remember other situations where a meal caused additional hunger rather than satiating it. Is that possible?
