Focusing on not overeating seems to make me overeat


I’ve been slowly working through the Stop Overeating module for the last five days. I feel incredibly motivated – and then every day, by around 10am, I’ve already succumbed to something sugary. Usually its the stress of COVID-19 (we’re in lockdown restrictions here) with work, homeschooling and just feeling pressure.

I try not to then think I’ve “blown it” for the day… but before I know it, I feel myself crashing and I’m back into the sugary food just to “cope”. I’ve been working on some bridge thoughts – but really feel like the more I think about not overeating, the more I want to! Any suggestions how I could get out of this cycle?
