Follow up on wanting to lose weight

Thank you for your response to my weight los question. You’re right. I do want to lose weight, but I don’t want to feel the discomfort of withdrawal. I like the idea of telling myself it is a thought error that feeling better in the moment is more important tan long term well being.

How do I prepare for cravings and discomfort? Is it just telling myself that it will for sure happen, and when it does, I will handle it?
