I joined a program a couple of years ago where I took a quiz that told me I was a food addict. I followed the program and lost about 30 lbs. It then started to feel like a cult, and I quit. But I have since gained about 90 lbs. Now I struggle with “am I a food addict?”. In listening to your podcasts, I’ve come to think that that might just be a thought. Could it possibly be a thought that I have told myself so many times that I’ve come to believe it? Or do I truly need to go back to weighing and measuring my food, and eliminating all sugar and flour? I am on board with eliminating sugar and flour because of the inflammation it causes in my body, but clearly weighing and measuring my food goes completely against eating -2 to +2. What are your thoughts on this topic and is there any help for me?
