Food is my work

Hi Brooke!

So i understand what you’re saying about making food really boring so it’s not the most exciting part of your day.

I, however, happen to have created a career around food: i’ve been a food writer for 12+ years, i create recipes, publish cookbooks, write about chefs and restaurants, and I love it.

I am at a healthy weight, happy with my body and active, but I do think I buffer with food (eating for entertainment, comfort, procrastination… the usual) and want to stop — again, not to lose weight but to uncover what’s underneath the buffering and clean up my thoughts.

Have you ever coached people who have built their professional life around food *not* being just fuel? Any particular insight about that?

Changing careers is not something I want to consider at this point. 🙂

Thank you!
