Food quantities and calorie-counting


I’m trying to understand (and reconcile) some things I’ve learned from the Weight Loss courses. So, I’ve given up sugar and flour (but for the one weekly exception). Should I expect that my hunger will now “recalibrate” over time so that I will go down to my natural or ideal weight without worrying about the quantities I eat (assuming I only eat to “plus 2” as Brooke recommends)? Is this why Brooke says to NOT count calories?
