Fruit and Complex Carb

I lost 35 pounds 7 years ago using your 2 – 2 method and since then gained 12 pounds over time. I am now fired up to lose that and more perhaps.

I started last Friday and in the first week I have lost 2 pounds.
My Protocol is:
12 – 8 eating window

Protein, fat and salad lunch
Protein fat and vegetables dinner

Sometimes I want to add fruit and rice or sweet potato. Do I add that in the evening meal or at lunch meal? Any suggested amount?
