Frustrations with scheduling on my calendar

I ansolutely love to plan and schedule, but I’m frequently getting derailed and am not sure how to handle it.

1. How do I determine how much time to give myself time to plan out a project?

2. How do I allow room for spontaneity in my life? I don’t need a ton of it, but the rigidity of the calendar is getting me down.

3. How do I handle legit interruptions? (e.g. the boss who needs something right away when I already have my whole day planned out, the dog puking on the carpet and having to stop to clean it up, being stuck in traffic, etc.) I feel like I’m frequently rearranging my calendar, and some days it makes me not want to calendar at all.
