Generating Emotions


Hi Brooke,

Thank you for the wonderful material so far. I want to check-in to see if I am understanding the daily homework specifically around picking a daily accomplishment and generating the emotion I want to feel in order to fuel the result or action”.

I found myself almost pick a goal for the day that is already inevitable (i.e. I am leading a class for yoga teachers so obviously I am going to spend some time working on that today therefore it need no be my daily goal). If I am assuming correctly then the thing I want to accomplish today is to get in a workout.

The feeling I want to fuel that action is motivation.

Then in order to generate that I could, bring that excitement into my own teaching today, schedule my gym time with my husband when he can look after our child. Any clarification would be great. Big huge thanks!
