Getting up earlier

Hi Coach, I would like to get up an hour earlier to give myself time to start my day with journaling, reading, meditation etc. I have tried this before and been unsuccessful. I find it very hard to get out of bed any earlier than I must to be at work. I describe myself as a bit of a night owl and do my best mental work later in the evening however I don’t get in the ‘quiet’ time I want to do thought downloading and contemplation. While I want to make this change intellectually and I have really strong reasons to do it, in the moment I can’t seem to push past my desire to stay warm and comfortable in my bed. Below are my models.

C: I get up @ 6:30am when my 2nd alarm goes off. Below are my models
T: I want to get up at 530am to journal/meditate before starting my work day
F: Doubt
A: I stay up as late as usual, I continue to set two alarms (530 & 600), I snooze my first alarm and sleep past my 2nd, I continue to get up at 6:30
R: I don’t get up at 530

C: I get up @ 6:30am when my 2nd alarm goes off. Below are my models
T: I want to get up at 530am to journal/meditate before starting my work day
F: determined
A: I go to bed a little earlier, I commit to getting up when my 530 alarm goes off, I sometimes do but other times I snooze through.
R: I sometimes get up at 530

C: I get up @ 6:30am when my 2nd alarm goes off. Below are my models
T: I want to get up at 530am to journal/meditate before starting my work day
F:excited
A: I get ready for bed an hour before my usual time and am ready to go to bed on time. I only set one alarm for 530 with no option to snooze, I plan my morning routine to feel relaxed and productive. I get up at 530 and use the time wisely to move me closer to my goals
R: I eagerly get up at 530

These models are based on the same thought but 3 different emotions … does this make sense?
