I am struggling in indecision (yes, a huge time waster) about my April goal: Earn $4k from private coaching business in April. I wonder whether it makes sense to choose a goal with an emphasis on the outcome, which is dependent on other people signing up to work with me. This seems different to me than the goal you use as an example: “Finish first five chapters of my book” because this relies only on you and your ability to follow through with a plan, whereas my goal involves or seems dependent on the action of others. Should my goal only be about the action I control vs the actions of others? How do you think through these differences?
