I just typed two magic words – The End.

I typed them at the end of a complete first draft of a novel I have been working on in fits and starts for two years. While in Dallas for the October VIP Modelathon, I picked it back up at the 1/2 way point. You coached me on my goldfish-as-motivation tactic and we all had a good laugh.

My husband and dogs are asleep in the other room, so I’m sharing my “The End” party with my scholar friends. 9 months in scholars. Down 43 lbs. My first publishable novel finished. Still keeping my day job.
