During a thought download reflecting on this scenario: had a phone call with JH who advised for me to decline two media opportunities. JH said to me at a phone call previously, “You only need formal approval for TV appearances but you should run everything by us anyway”

I’m being put on a tight leash

**ACTIONS**

Discuss with other people outside of work, feel resentful and frustrated, think about what I can do to fix it, how to navigate it or take back control – e.g. by trying to verify what JH had told me in work policies, continue to ruminate on it when I am reminded of it
