Holding myself accountable for my own happiness


I’ve received some interesting insight – I’m in a way putting it on the guy I’m dating to be responsible for my happiness. I realize I am responsible for my happiness and need to own that which comes with thoughtwork. Today he video chatted me unexpectedly and I was instantly in a better mood. Need some help creating happiness for myself. Here’s where I’m starting:

The following bring me joy:
1. Spending time with friends and family
2. Seeing plays
3. Painting
4. Going on walks with my dog
5. Meeting and petting new dogs
6. Eating delicious food
7. Doing something really awesome at work
8. Traveling

But the joy I get from being intimate and close to him and with him is on a whole other level which I realize is a thought but can’t seem to shake it.
