Holiday overwhelm/depression

Hello! Brand new to Scholars and excited to start the program! I’m feeling overwhelmed both with some big work obligations, which my brain is telling me that I cannot manage, and holiday obligations – hosting a family visit and a work holiday party.

I’ve also got the thought that I’m obligated to feel a particular way during the holidays. These thoughts are resulting in feelings that make it hard for me to function, and make me incredibly difficult to be around. What are some thoughts that I can think to help get me few the next four weeks?
