HOMEMADE “Treats”


Hi, I have been trying to give up sugar/flour but want to meet myself where I am. After thinking about it, I want to give up sugar and flour because I want to have more energy in general. I don’t think this is a huge problem for me but an area that I would like to uplevel.

As a first step, I wanted to make myself the version of things I would like to have maybe a cookie or a muffin but with cleaner ingredients and homemade. Every time I go to make a recipe where I like the ingredients I keep telling myself that is cheating, it’s not good enough, you shouldn’t need these at all. The result is that I eat a processed version of that. I want to be someone I am not and the black and white thinking has me stuck. Can you help me unpack here a bit?
