Homework with the kids

Hello coaches,

My two children live one week at their father’s and one week at my place. Due to Covid, we are homeschooling our kids.
They came back from their father’s this morning and I found out the homework hadn’t been done and the tests hadn’t been sent to the teachers. It has happened a few times before. This has consequences because I have to help them with the homework of the previous week as well as the weekly homework. When I tell him, he says that my children should be more organized. They are eight years old.

My unintentional model is:
C: the homework hasn’t been done last week
T: I shouldn’t be the one doing all the work
F: irritated
A: I ruminate, complain, I do last week’s homework with the kids
R: I have done all the homework

I am struggling to find a new thought.
I would like to be OK with the situation. But it takes me a lot of time to compensate for what hasn’t been done. Time that I would rather spend laughing or playing with my children instead of doing the homework.

Could you help me?
Thank you
