I have been following my protocol for about 9 weeks and felt great for the first 6 weeks. I was averaging a loss of 2-3 pounds per week until week 7 when I lost 8 pounds in one week. That was great but I could tell that my hormones were really out of balance after that. I have read that we store estrogen (among other things) in our fat cells and it is released into our body as we lose weight. I am on estrogen replacement therapy so I stopped taking it temporarily to help relieve the symptoms. There is not much information on the internet about what happens to our hormones as we lose weight. I am wondering if you have had anyone else experience this and if you have any recommendations for how to alleviate this as I lose more weight. I will follow up with my doctor, but would like to know your experience with this as well. Thanks!
