Hormone testing

Hi Brooke –
I am 36 and I don’t seem to have any “gut” issues, or obvious hormonal problems. However I hear a lot about insulin levels, cortisol levels, and other hormones related to regulating body weight. Are there any hormones you recommend having checked to see if they are affecting weight loss? I don’t take any supplements and wonder if a probiotic or vitamin D or any of those “popular” supplements are needed. I don’t want to take them without knowing if I actually need them.
Could you share any thoughts you have on if hormone testing is helpful or necessary with weight loss, and what specific things you recommend having tested if you do.
