How do I know if I’m doing enough?


I have a goal to learn a new language. I’ve had this goal for a while, and I’ve made some progress on it.

Right now, I’m struggling with not overscheduling myself with tasks to learn the language.

On the one hand, I want to schedule something to learn every day so that I get back on track and I’ll have momentum and I actually make progress.

On the other hand, I don’t want to schedule something every day right off the bat because I noticed that in the past I’ve not been able to keep up with it, and I need to reschedule or cancel on myself.

However, just scheduling an hour per week or so (what seems reasonable to me right now when I create my calendar) seems like not enough in order to make progress with my goal.

How can I unravel this a bit?
