How do thought work and clinical depression work together?

How do thought work and clinical depression work together? Depression is hard. I don’t know how to change my thoughts when I have a disease that makes that harder. You’re probably going to say that’s a thought – which is the problem. When the depression is bad, there are days, weeks, or longer where it’s physically hard to get out of bed, to go to work, to get through the day – let alone do thought work. I don’t know how to change my thoughts on my own. I’ve tried so many things to make the depression better – therapy, meds, meditation, yoga, working out, getting outside – but it continues.
