How to be present when we are always thinking?

I was just listening to Ekhart Tolle on Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations podcast and he talks about moving away from our “ego” which is our constant thoughts running in our head and just being present in the moment without all the chatter in the brain.

I am trying to figure out how to mesh this with trying to maintain the awareness to our thoughts that Brooke teaches in order to either allow or change our thoughts. Also, I often find myself always thinking about what I need to do next on my daily schedule – I spend a LOT of my day THINKING!!

How do I be present in the moment and move away from the “ego” while also tuning into and changing the current thoughts that aren’t serving me? Hopefully this makes sense…
