Someone said to me that allowing urges and sticking to my day food plan will reveal the full spectrum of emotions for me AND I am only feeling the lighter, subtler emotions and all my emotions are feeling dull right now due to buffering. I WANT TO FEEL BRIGHTER, BETTER FEELINGS. I am a bit confused that —- How can allowing uncomfortable emotions in turn reveal better , brighter feelings? Could someone please explain this to me?
I am also clinically depressed and have negative thoughts and negative thought loops throughout the day. Could someone please give me OTHER, DIFFERENT ways as to how to FEEL BETTER, BRIGHTER FEELINGS in the day for a clinically depressed person dealing with chronic depression and anxiety?
