How to not take things personally

I’ve noticed that if I’m in a social interaction/situation and it doesn’t go the way I planned, I make it mean that I’m boring and easy to ignore, that it’s my fault the conversation didn’t go smoother, and that I’m not likable. I know Brooke talked in her podcast about how not everyone will like a peach. I understand this intellectually, but I guess not fully because I still take things too personally and make it mean I’m unworthy. How do I change this unconscious habit?
