Since getting the jar, I’ve noticed I have had way less urges, just because I am so much more aware. My question is: sometimes I get really hungry before lunch and after lunch and right before bed time. These are usually the times when I used to have a snack. Following Brook’s advice I do not snack anymore. When I feel so hungry I am not tempted to eat sugar or flour but just to eat something to make my stomach stop rumbling. Is this an urge? Is this something I should wait out for 10 minutes and then put the glass bead in the jar? So far I have not given in during the day, but I can’t fall asleep when my stomach is rumbling. Maybe I should just eat dinner later in the day?
