Hi

My husband is not really ever interested in attending events organised by my side of the family. I used to force him years ago but that caused major issues, I always offer him the option of coming or not and he usually chooses not even pre Christmas gatherings. I act ok with it but deep down sometimes I’m hurt or angry. I don’t want to force him to do something he doesn’t want to but I also would like him there with me and our daughter! How could I navigate my thoughts around this and also deal with my family saying “ he never comes to anything” and “ how do you cope with that”
