I am committed to losing weight and getting to a weight I feel comfortable. My husband likes my body as is and one of the thoughts I have is if I lose weight he won’t like the way I look anymore. Here is the model:
C: Lose X amount of weight
T: If I lose weight my husband won’t find me attractive anymore
A: Self-sabotage, don’t fully commit to process
R: Don’t lose weight
This thought feels very “true” to me and I am having trouble coming up with an intentional model that leads to the result of weight loss. Any suggestions?
