Husband - tumultuous seas

My husband & I jumped on boat yesterday. Weather was suppose to be nice which it was but seas were rough & crossing channel tumultuous. We found refuge & adventured. Choice was too dive or fish. I wanted to dive. He wanted to fish, so fish he did back in tumultuous waters with promise of safe harbor to dive after.

No safe harbor just lots of bump & rock. After he caught two fish, I yelled enough is enough from below. He stopped & headed along islands coast but waters still rough. He yelled we are heading home.

We go home. I walked from the harbor home. We barely acknowledged each other last night. I checked in this morning. We agreed that he didn’t have control over weather. We agreed that he did try to find another safe harbor after fishing.
He said I criticize his boat. I said it is hard to find a comfortable place to sit when ocean is rough unless it’s the captain’s chair & it’s why I sat in it on the way home to have nausea subside. (Deck below rockier) I said I am not invited on his boat or at least I think that is what I heard?

This whole scenario is so symbolic.

C: After finding safe haven, I wanted to stay & dive. Paul wanted to fish & find another safe haven to dive. Sea was rough during fishing & Paul not able to find safe haven further down coast. I asked (yelled) to stop fishing in rough water. He did. We came home.
T: I wanted to stay in our safe haven & dive, now I am below getting tossed around & nauseous while Paul fishes.
F: Nauseous
A: Yell – ‘Enough is enough. I am so nauseous.’
R: He stopped. We cruised for safe harbor & when there was none we headed home.

Hmm I still feel pissed. He is pissed. How did we get from there to here? Okay my thoughts. ‘He doesn’t have control over the weather, but he did look @ forecast & said weather & seas would be great. I agreed to go based on this information. ‘ ‘I am just learning to dive/snorkel & felt motivated & hot to get in water after our hike.’ ‘I told him if we waited to jump in water, I wouldn’t go.’ ” I wish he had honored my wish.’ & ‘why is he mad @ me?

How do I want to feel? Right? – LOL/Justified ? LOL Not nauseous anymore? LOL
at peace? heard?
