I have a question regarding abuse. My previous husband was abusive and would angrily attack me on the spot without cause or forewarning. My current husband is not like that at all. Thank God! However, he does have moments of angry outbursts. These outbursts set off anxiety and fear inside of me. The fear is he will attack me physically when I’m not expecting it. A couple of times over the last 2 years, I had to close a door to protect myself from him and he kicked and pounded on it a little and stopped. So it’s not bad enough to make something of it, but I just never know for sure. I don’t think its good behavior to yell at your spouse for any reason. Is this the kind of situation where you would recommend me to leave until he calms down? Drawing the line in the sand, showing this is not acceptable and I will not tolerate it? You always have such golden advice, and love hearing your words of wisdom.
