Hypothyroidism and weight loss

Hi Brooke,

I just joined SCS this month (a gift for my 30th Birthday!), and my Impossible Goal for 2019 is to lose “the last 30 pounds.” I already lost about 30 pounds over the last year just by listening to your podcast, changing my diet, and managing my mind. I eat 2 meals a day (eating window 11am-7pm) with either salad or vegetable soup for lunch, and I usually eat a serving of protein with tons of veggies for dinner. I do have “carbs” at these meals but they are only beans in the salad, potatoes at dinner, or the occasional side of pasta. However, I have been at a plateau for about 2 months. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 5 years ago and am starting to think that this has really stalled my progress once the easy weight was lost. Are there any specific changes that I should make to my protocol given my hypothyroidism? Have you had any clients with hypothyroidism that have had success with your program, and if so how was their protocol different? Thank you so much!
