I’ve noticed that I have a reccurring thought that “I should be farther ahead on my “journey”.
Whether it’s a weight loss goal, business goal (Impossible Goal) , or even my work in Scholars, this thought comes up.
T – I should be farther along with my Impossible Goal
F – frustration
A – I compare myself to others, constantly check on my numbers, question if I’ll ever get to where I want to be, buffer with TV
R – don’t make a lot of progress on my goal
I know this thought has led me to give up in the past and sometimes leads to self-sabotaging behavior.
Can you please help me process this? Thank you!
