I’m disappointed

I weighed myself this morning and I gained 2 lbs this week! (I have a goal to lose 1 lb per week) and I am very disappointed!

C: I gained 2 lbs
T: I’m disappointed with myself, how come this week is going into a mess?
F: Disappointed
A: I’m ruminating
R: I remain disappointed and I do not learn anything

How can being aware of this pattern help me?
