I understand the concept of the CTFAR model and went through part of the stop overeating classes.
I do however observe in my own experience that I have periods (which last usually for days) where I feel extremely tired physically, which I believe is directly linked to hormonal issues in my body (and it does not happen only during my PMS).
When I am experiencing such moments, there is nothing I can do to change my thoughts or nearly even control my actions. In fact, I usually feel empty of emotions and have an urge to either buffer (eat, watch tv, etc) or I just feel bad with nothing or new thoughts being able to lift me up. It’s really a physical sensation completely taking over any mental power.
How do you suggest to deal with that?
