Impossible Goal – 100 Pound Weight Loss In 1 Year

I’m having trouble understanding specific fails for my goal? Perhaps, caving to an urge? Not following protocol? Not exercising. Giving up. These fails are the things I have been doing that has led me to being overweight, so I’m not sure how these fails would be helpful. I guess choosing fails like: go for a walk 7 days a week and then failing as I only walked 3 days in a week. But isn’t this like setting a goal and not following it. Wouldn’t it be better to set the bar a little lower and actually making the goal? I will walk 2 days this week…and then doing that or doing better…actually waking 2 to 3 days per week? Another one could be lose 25 pounds in January. And if I only lose 10 lbs is that a fail? Better to say bigger and fall short than set the goal smaller and exceed it? I’m guessing this is all part of the brain work, but I want to understand it better! I’m excited to shoot for the moon with my impossible goal, but I want to make sure I’m understanding my fails.
