So I’ve been working on my impossible goal for 2019. I originally came up with I’d like to pay off my debt and my family’s debt ($295,000) before the end of the year. However when I was working with my money coach we identified that I didn’t have a compelling reason to actually do that goal and that I had a lot of negativity with it.
We started talking about if all my debt was paid off what would I spend that money on and what would I be doing and it made me excited and empowered and made me fall in love with everything that could be rather than just paying off everyone’s debt.
So I’ve arrived at “By December 31st, 2019 I have 1 full time position and that full time position is my coaching business.” Now I see that as possible and I don’t feel that is an impossible goal for me because I already know that’s viable for me. However, I’m thinking about attaching a number to how much my business makes in the year but have all of this stuff come up around picking a number attached to it. I feel like $100k is too little but can’t settle on a number higher than that because I feel like maybe I’m being too ambitious or maybe I’m not trying hard enough or stretching far enough. So I realize I’m indulging in confusion. So nevermind just did some models and I’m going for $200k in my business.
My question to you is now, do I make my impossible goal, “By December 31st, 2019 I have 1 full time position and that full time position is my coaching business AND my coaching business made $200k”? Or is that two and I’m not constraining?
Thank you!
