I have not liked my job for a while and have been unsuccessfully interviewing for new ones. I noticed that when I was feeling really crappy about work I would go to a store, like Target or Michaels, and buy stuff I didn’t need. I’d leave to do this and would also do it first thing to avoid going into work. I’ve made a decision not to spend money frivolously so this week when I’ve had to urge to leave work and go out, I have not. I’ve felt even more unhappy at work this week than I have in a long time. As the week went on, I noticed I started grabbing my phone more. I know I’m just switching one thing for another but now I just overall feel worse.
