I am struggling with events and enjoying one joy eat instead of making the entire event a joy eat.

C: parties
T: I won’t have fun if I can’t indulge
T: Following my protocol is hard during a party
T: I’ll create a protocol and it will be restrictive
T: I’ll create a plan but I won’t follow it, so why try
T: I’ll just start tomorrow
F: deprived
A: I tell myself the food won’t be available tomorrow, find reasons not to have fun, increase food chatter, do not have freedom around food
R: I make this hard

I do the model but still seem stuck in my habit to overindulge during a party. I get anxious about planning a protocol and then fear missing out. Please help.
