You talk about never leaving a marriage or a job until you are happy. Well, how about if there has been infidelity 3 times now. I am not in a financial place to get a divorce right now. We have been living with my mother-in-law for the past 5 years. We had planned on remodeling her house and building a separate in-law unit so that she could live with us. My husband’s business is doing ok but we just found out we owe $160K to the IRS and we are barely making ends meet. I work with my husband in his business.

I want to move out with my son and I want my husband to pay for our apartment along with everything else while I try to look for work. Am I jumping ahead of myself here? Should I get my affairs in order before going ahead with the divorce? As in get a job and work on my mental health. My husband and I are so incompatible and I have pretty much stayed with him for my son. I don’t want to break up my family but I am so done with him. My world has been turned upside down since I found out about his latest affair last week.
