Intermittent Fasting Meal Plan

Hi Brooke,

I have been intermittent fasting since 12/25. I make eating plans 24 hours in advance, but there are times I end up eating something entirely different for whatever reason. When I switch things up I still follow the eating guidelines BUT isn’t what I planned to eat. For example, last night I planned to make pork chops and sugar snap beans, but I got busy with work and ended up eating a huge salad with tuna instead. Other times I’ve realized that some veggies or meat is about to go bad so I make something with those ingredients instead of what was planned.

I am 100% committed to eating 4oz protein, lots of veggies, 2T fat at 10:00am and 5:30pm daily. I have not swayed from this plan since 12/25 and find it easy to follow. Knowing that, how important is it that I follow my 24 hour plans exactly as written? I feel fine adjusting my plans on the fly within protocol parameters, but I’m wondering if I’m missing the point about planning and follow through. What are you thoughts on this?
